AIRPORT

You will fly into the Miami International Airport (MIA) for the event. The resort is situated 12 miles away from MIA. Depending on traffic, the commute by car is approximately 30 minutes.​​

AIRLINE TICKETS

Your airfare will be booked via Sonesta’s travel partner, Direct Travel. Please submit your air information via the registration form and a Direct Travel representative will be in touch with flight options for you and your guest. Note that you need to arrive in MIA by 3:00 PM local time to attend the Welcome Reception. We kindly request that you approve your itinerary at your earliest convenience to get you booked for the event.

Please do not purchase tickets on your own as this will allow us to manage your arrival and departure transportation smoothly.

If you would like to upgrade your flight, you may do so directly with the airline after securing your regular coach ticket. Once your tickets are purchased and you have your airline record locator number, you may contact the airline to make any changes directly using points or a personal credit card for upgrades and/or modifications.

 

For your return travel on May 2, please note there are no scheduled activities, and you can depart at your preferred time. Transportation to the airport will be provided.

AIRPORT ARRIVAL

Upon arrival to the Miami International Airport (MIA), you will be met by an event transportation representative who will escort you to your transportation vehicle. The drive time to the resort is approximately 30minutes. Hotel Check in time is 4:00 PM. However, if you arrive early and your room isn't ready, you can often use the resort's facilities until your room becomes available.

AIRPORT DEPARTURE

Hotel checkout time is 11:00 AM. 

 

Transportation to Miami International Airport (MIA) will be provided and a detailed departure notice will be delivered to you prior to the departure date. This departure notice will give you information on your pickup time and the departure process.
